Plastics for the food industry

Within the food industry high demands are placed on hygiene, cleanability and food approval. PlastShop offers a wide range of plastics that meet FDA and EU 10/2011. Our materials are used by commercial kitchens, restaurants, slaughterhouses, fishmongers and food producers across the Nordic region. Plastic materials have significant advantages compared to wood and metal: they do not absorb moisture, are easy to clean and can withstand aggressive cleaning agents without corroding.

PE-HD and PE-1000 in food grade. Seamless surfaces that do not absorb moisture or bacteria. Available in several colors for HACCP labeling.

Conveyor belts and sliding rails

POM and PA6 with low friction for conveyors, sorting machines and packaging lines.

Tanks and containers

PP and PE for storage and transport of food, beverages and cleaning agents.

Hygienic surfaces and wall cladding

Seamless plastic sheets that replace tiles. Easy to clean, withstand aggressive disinfectants.
