About PlastShop

Background

PlastShop was started with a simple idea: it should be easier to buy technical plastic. Traditionally, the industry has been characterized by long lead times, unclear prices and cumbersome ordering processes. We wanted to change that.

Today, PlastShop is a digital platform that connects Nordic industrial customers with Europe's leading plastic manufacturers. We do not have our own warehouse. Instead, we ship directly from the manufacturers, which gives us extreme flexibility and access to their entire range without tying up capital in inventory.

Our daily work is about solving customers' problems. We guide customers to find the right material, in the right dimension, at the right price. Whether it's a single plate for a prototype or a pallet of PE-1000 for a conveyor.

How we work

Almost everything happens via the web and phone. We believe in digital tools that make it easier for the customer: webshop with real-time prices, weight calculator, cutting optimizer and technical data sheets available directly. At the same time, we are always available by phone and email for advice and special orders.

We only work with carefully selected European manufacturers that are certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Several of our suppliers also have ISO 50001 (energy management) and manufacture materials with food approval (FDA, EU 10/2011) and fire classification.
