Plastic and sustainability
Plastic has gotten a bad reputation, but technical plastic is something entirely different from single-use packaging. Our materials are construction materials used for decades in machines, conveyor belts, chemical plants, and the food industry.
Technical plastic often replaces metal and provides lower weight, longer lifespan, and lower energy consumption. A PE-UHMW-gliding shoe that replaces steel in a conveyor reduces both energy consumption and maintenance needs.
We help our customers choose the right material from the start. The right material selection means longer lifespan, less waste, and fewer replacements. It is the most effective sustainability measure we can contribute to.
Recycled materials in our range
We offer several materials with high recycled content:
- PE-HD ECO: Over 80% post-consumer recycled (PCR)
- PA6 Regranulat: Recycled polyamide from industrial waste
- PP Recycled: Recycled polypropylene
- Ocean Plastic: Material made from collected ocean plastic
Our supply chain
We work only with European manufacturers that are certified according to ISO 9001 (quality) and ISO 14001 (environment). Several of our suppliers also have ISO 50001 (energy management) and publish annual sustainability reports.
