PUR

Polyurethane

PUR (polyuretan) is an elastic material with excellent wear resistance and good shock absorption. The material is available in hardness grades from 60 Shore A (rubber-like) to 75 Shore D (hard), which makes it adaptable to many applications. PUR has exceptional resistance to abrasion and often outperforms rubber in wear resistance tests. The material is used as wear-resistant coatings on rollers, shock absorbers, seals and conveyor components. PUR is resistant to oils, fats and many solvents.
