Polysulfone (Udel®)
PSU, also known as the Udel brand, is an amorphous high performance thermoplastic with high temperature resistance up to 160 °C and excellent hydrolysis resistance. The material withstands repeated steam sterilizations and is transparent with a light yellowish tone. PSU is used in the medical technology industry, food and beverage industry, electrical insulation and water purification. The material has good dimensional stability and very low shrinkage.
