PPSU
Polyphenylsulfone
PPSU, also known as Radel, is an amorphous high performance thermoplastic with the highest impact resistance among the sulfone plastics. The material withstands repeated steam sterilizations at 134 °C without losing its properties, making it the standard material for sterilization trays and medical instruments. PPSU is biocompatible and approved for direct contact with the body. The material resists strong disinfectants and has good chemical resistance.
