PPS
Polyphenylene sulfide
PPS is a semi crystalline high performance thermoplastic with excellent chemical resistance and high temperature resistance up to 220 °C. The material is inherently flame retardant without additives and has very good dimensional stability. PPS withstands most chemicals even at elevated temperatures, and has one of the lowest water absorptions among all plastics (0,02 percent). The material is used in the chemical process industry, electrical insulation at high temperature and the automotive industry.
