PPE
Polyphenylene ether (Noryl®)
PPE, also known as Noryl, is an amorphous thermoplastic with excellent dimensional stability and the lowest water absorption among technical plastics (0.06 percent). The material has good electrical insulation and a wide temperature range. PPE provides excellent surface finish when processed and is a popular choice for precision parts in the electronics and semiconductor industry. The material is also available as PPE GF30 (glass fiber reinforced) for applications that require higher stiffness.
