PET

Polyethylene Terephthalate

PET is a stiff, dimensionally stable thermoplastic with good chemical resistance and excellent machinability. The material has very low shrinkage and creep, making it ideal for precision parts. PET is available in a food-grade variant (PET FG) and as transparent APET for displays and signs. The material provides an excellent surface finish when turned and milled, and is a popular choice for CNC-machined parts. PET absorbs minimal moisture, which provides stable dimensions even in humid environments.
