PC
Polycarbonate
PC is a transparent thermoplastic with extremely high impact resistance, up to 250 times stronger than glass. The material is used where transparency needs to be combined with mechanical strength, for example in machine guards, signs and lighting fixtures. PC is self-extinguishing and has good temperature resistance up to 120 °C. The material can be sawed, drilled, milled and bent with conventional tools. We have PC in clear and colored plates as well as round rods, including variants such as PC UV (UV-stabilized) and PC+ASA.
