PMMA Laser Safety Windows
We at PlastShop.se are excited to introduce our first protective window for lasers, item number P1800000. This window is made of PMMA, a material that inherently absorbs laser radiation, providing effective protection.
Properties and Standards
This laser safety window has a light transmission of 18%, which provides good visibility through the window. The material is CE marked and meets the requirements of EN 60825-4. Standard sizes are available, but we can also offer customized solutions up to a maximum size of 3000×2000 mm.
Protection Areas and Application
The protective window provides broadband protection in the near infrared (NIR) range from 1064 to 1100 nm (class OD6+) and protection in the red wavelength range from 630 nm to 656 nm (class OD4+). What laser types are best suited? This particular window is especially suitable for use with Nd:YAG or fiber lasers.
